A Roadtanker is a specialised road tanker designed for the transport and distribution of fuels or other liquids, fitted with a specialised body mounted on a lorry chassis. This type of body is ideally adapted to field conditions directly on the front line.
All our vehicles are certified by the main transport regulatory authorities (TDT, TÜV, Bureau Veritas, Vincotte and many others).
Tank
A trunk-shaped tank that can be divided into between 2 and 5 compartments. Storage compartments for other equipment, such as entrenching tools, are fitted around the container.
Chassis
We mount the tanks on reinforced 2-, 3- or 4-axle chassis, designed for use in rough terrain. All steering axles are driven.
Loading
Top-loading or bottom-loading. It is possible to transfer the medium to other vehicles – tankers.
Multitasking
Roadtanker vehicles can transport different types of medium in a single transport. This is made possible by the use of separate compartments and independent dispensing systems.
Unloading
Unloading can be carried out in two ways: either via a hose mounted on a reel at the rear of the rigid, or, in the traditional manner, via a dispensing system in a cabinet under the tank.
Masking system
The masking system consists of BP450-1000/N primer and BW400-6031 (dark green) paint. Other masking paint colors are available. All camouflage systems have been developed in accordance with NATO requirements (STANAG) and the standards of member states.
